Outkick the Show: Thursday, June 27, 2019

On today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis discussed the Lakers trade with the Pelicans for Anthony Davis and the Lakers’ financial strategy involving Space Jam 2; a strategy Clay accurately predicted long before it took place.

Clay also commented on Vanderbilt’s victory over Michigan last night to win the 2019 College World Series. It is Clay’s opinion that Tim Corbin might be the most under-appreciated and under-recognized coach in all of sports.

Clay then talked about the Democratic debate last night. Clay thought Tulsi Gabbard and John Delaney were the most reasonable, but was largely unimpressed with the crowd of candidates and recognized nothing new was shared.

Clay then mentioned that Kemba Walker will likely head to the Celtics to replace Kyrie Irving.

Finally, Clay shared the story of a fearless great-grandmother from Philadelphia who had a shocking confrontation with a 5’ cobra in her garden. The 73-year old killed the snake by and chopping off its head with nothing more than a small shovel. #DBAP
