On today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis discussed the equal pay debate, specifically as it relates to the ridiculousness surrounding the US Women’s Soccer team and soccer player Megan Rapinoe’s feud with the President of the United States, Donald Trump. Clay added that “just because you have the same job as someone else doesn’t mean an equal number of people care about the job you’re doing.”
Clay Travis also commented on the current social justice warrior efforts by Rapinoe: “We have entered an era of protests where the goal is to hurl insults at your opponent, and when your opponent offers to meet and discuss the issues, As President Trump did, you spurn that invitation because somehow by meeting with them legitimizes their beliefs. I fundamentally reject this.” Clay added: “Most protests were designed to get a seat at the table. Their goal wasn’t to get on television or media attention, it was to change things. This is not what is being done anymore.”
Clay also addressed the supposed wage gap in America that doesn’t exist. The only reason why women make less money than men is because they have to take time off work for childbirth, said Travis.
Clay Travis then addressed the Tyreek Hill situation with the full audio clip being recently released by 610 AM in Kansas City. It turns out the clip was selectively edited to make Hill look guilty of child abuse and failed to reveal the context related to his conversation regarding a potentially physically abusive situation involving his son.
Finally, Clay Travis ridiculed the idea of white privilege but continues to support hot girl privilege. A recent study showed the only evidence of privilege existing in a measurable way is with attractive women.
